Praying for the Follow-Up from the Youth Camps
‘Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.’ – 1 Timothy 4:12
Recently, two Care Points in South Africa - Oshoek and Somerset - had two separate youth camps. Hands at Work believes in investing into the next generation and creating a space where the youth feel safe, comfortable and free to share any burdens that they are facing. By God’s grace, both of the camps went well. Thank God for the youth who attended and for all that they were able to learn about their Heavenly Father.
Please join us in praying for:
- The youth who attended, that they take away everything they learned at the camps and continue to deepen their relationship with Christ. Pray that they will feel encouraged and challenged to share with others about the good news of the gospel.
- The local Hands at Work teams in Hazyview and Oshoek as they follow up from the camps in the next few months. Ask God to give them wisdom and discernment as they speak into the lives of the youth.
- The International Volunteers who continue to support the local Hands at Work teams and invest in the youth from the camps. Pray for deep relationships of trust and safety to develop.
- The children to see the Care Workers and Hands at Work volunteers as safe people to open up to and be vulnerable with.
